Overweight Women Have More Sex
This is a little old, but I still want to bring it up. I think that Jezebel has it right: attractiveness doesn't have much to do with weight. I lost a fair bit of weight over the past year and was disappointed to find several tens of pounds later that, well...let's just say that it didn't augment much.

Most of the women I know are overweight, and we've all been accused by significant others of being insatiable sexually. Who knows why... The more interesting study, in my opinion, would be number of partners. I think that means more for public health/policy, anyway - in terms of spread of disease, pregnancy, etc.
I've known for awhile that I am not attractive to most people, and I don't really care. I think it's really presumptuous for anyone to say they wouldn't date me when I haven't offered myself... generally speaking I'm not attracted to anyone who wouldn't want to bone me, anyway.
I get that most people don't want to think about certain groups of people having sex: the elderly, the disabled, the overweight. But all that being said - you can find pretty much anything in porn which means there's someone out there who will bone pretty much everyone.
I was, frankly, a little surprised at how (openly) surprised the researchers were at their results. Stupid sociologists.
