I'm watching "Waltz with Bashir"* with the commentary, and Ari Folman, the filmmaker, keeps talking about the censored US "TV version." What? Is he making a joke, or they really preparing to show an animated documentary about the 1982 invasion of Lebanon on TNT, right after "King of Queens" or "Family Bro"? The only TV channels I could imagine showing this are HBO, IFC, and Sundance, and I've seen tons of uncensored shit on each of them.
*Oddly, I got this from Netflix on the day it came out. Either my MontgoCo fellow-Jews are really falling down on the job or Netflix read my blogplaint.
